My life is one big DIY

So.. I've been away from blogger a bit more than I really wanted to lately, but I have been so so busy! As some of you know, the very small cottage we have been living in was completly built by us, no loans, no contracters, just a little at a time as we had the money.. all 365 square feet of it :)
Well, over the past couple of months, we have some BIG changes going on around here! As in another 360 sq ft addition to our little home! Still all done by us, and some serious sweat and tears folks. An accomplishment like this deserves a trophy of sorts I think! So many sore muscles and late nights up past midnight... It all paid off in the end. We are so happy to have a little extra wiggle room and we were able to buy us some decent sized funiture and can actually entertain in our living room now! I am so very proud (in case you couldnt tell, haha) I wanted to share the story of our adventure in pictures. I hope this inspires someone to go out and try something like this for themselves. It such a feeling of accomplishment.

Okay since I took these pics a couple of weeks ago, we have painted the walls and installed the floor and have electricity, but I'm going to wait until the final reveal before posting any more pics, so check back soon. Oh, and I also have a farmhouse table DIY I want to share and a couple of furniture redos!
